I was 10 when I started struggling with an eating disorder. I was 15 when my mother was in a car accident that left her disabled with a traumatic brain injury. I was 22 when I understood I was sexually abused for years by a family friend. I was 25 when I decided that I could intentionally use my creative skills to cope with these issues and improve the world for more people.
Self-proclaimed “rebel”, I believe that the complexities of the human experience cannot be attended to through only one area of study. So I have let myself dive into as many as I can. Through that, I have created a unique problem-solving perspective by taking from my own experiences and listening to others.
If you were actually looking for something more surface level I grew up in Kansas, went to Syracuse University and I enjoy climbing, hiking with my dog Ghost, and dancing with my partner to live music.
